Well struck with fine details and an attractive dark green patina. A few insignificant deposits in Zeus' hair, otherwise, extremely fine.

Uncertain female head to right (Dido or, more probably, Tanit), wearing a Phrygian cap with stiff, radiating pleats and a helmet-like visor, and a simple earring. Rev. S’MMHNT (= people of the camp) Lion walking to right, head facing front; behind, date palm. De Hirsch 832-3 (same dies). De Luynes 1472 (same dies). Jenkins 272 (O85/R226). Rizzo, pl. LXVI, 8 (same dies). Extremely rare, toned and impressive. Good very fine.

Nude ithyphallic satyr standing right, with his right hand grasping the right arm of a nymph fleeing away from him to the right; around, three pellets. Rev. Incuse square with uneven surfaces. AMNG pl. XIV, 31. HPM pl. VII, 27 (same dies). Traité I 1566 and pl. L, 5. Very rare, and likely the finest known example. Extremely well struck with fine details and in wonderful Archaic style. Extremely fine.

Evans VIII O, 1. HN III, 1046. SNG Paris 2052. Vlasto 935-7. A truly spectacular example: bright, sharply struck from fresh dies and well-centered. Good extremely fine.

Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. 'MHMHNT (in Punic) Horse's head to left; palm tree behind. Gulbenkian 375 = Jameson 916 (same dies). Jenkins, Punic 321 (O104/R263). A stunning masterpiece and apparently among the finest known examples; struck on a broad flan, lustrous and sharp. Good extremely fine.

Zeus Lykaios, seated left on low throne with footrest and with swan’s head at the top of the backrest, holding long scepter in his right hand and thunderbolt in his left; to left, eagle with spread wings flying to right. Rev. Head of Kallisto to right, her hair in a sakkos, wearing a simple necklace with a single pendant, and with a beaded neck truncation; all within an incuse square. BCD 1451 = Kunstfreund 29 = Williams, Confederate, Period II, 1, 104d (same dies). BMFA 1242 (same dies). Traeger 50. Very rare. A wonderful little coin, of a perfect late Archaic-early Classical style, with a beguiling head of the nymph. Lightly crystallised surfaces, otherwise, extremely fine.
