asino ?

Salve a tutti, mi piacerebbe molto qualche parere su questa moneta che mi ha parecchio incuriosito: il rovescio sembrerebbe quello del sestante Crawford  195/5, tra l'altro molto raro (R4) con un asino sulla prora. Al dritto potrebbe essere Mercurio, a destra con petaso alato ... se così fosse però non mi torna la legenda che termina con VA. Moneta riconiata oppure è l'asino che mi sta portando fuori strada? Anche i dati pondometrici, 17 mm. per 2,17 gr., mi lasciano qualche dubbio, grazie per eventuali graditi aiuti

Le sembianze sono di Ercole non di Mercurio.

Però è una moneta interessante: normalmente, il nome del monetiere è al rovescio sopra alla prora, mentre qui è al D davanti alla testa di Ercole. Ci sono altre emissioni con queste caratteristiche? Io non ne avevo mai viste.

L'animale in piedi sopra la prua è solitamente identificato come un cavallo, come in questo esemplare, ma in altri sembra munito di corna e quindi più simile a una capra o a una antilope.
