I remind you, danielealberti, Brennos2 and numa numa, elementary truths → stamp destruction begins from its end surfaces (zone "B" → see picture below), where the load on the stamp is incommensurably higher than on the buried surfaces of the stamp (zone "C") . In this product, the stamp collapsed in the buried surface of the stamp, which contradicts the elementary knowledge about the process of minting coins.

The next question is → holes, in yellow circles, how did they appear here (see pictures below)?

@YV_ laMoneta

But how do you think the coin I started the discussion with was produced? Starting from what?

The next question is → extra metal on the dolphin's body, at the ends of the yellow arrows, how did they appear (see the picture below)?

I don’t quite follow, sorry but this debate is quite surreal and devoid of scientific prowess in my opinion. My limitation of course.

good luck with your thesis.

Here the fact of discussion is absent, because:

- I do not see a single answer to my questions yet;

- while I do not see any constructive counterargument to what I have said and shown above.

Sadly I don't have Tudeer. If I understand from the discussion well, the first die in sequence is the one where both dolphins to the right of Athena's head swim downwards and then after the die broke, it was tooled/re-engraved into the second die (the one where one dolphin swims downwards and one upwards)? Or these are 2 different dies?

And while this looks like a more convincing die break, the argument presented that the die break must always appear in the fields is not valid, for example see the Leontini wet hair Apollo and the progress of the break on the hair...I also attach a die break on a Buttrey tetradrachm  on the face of Athena...

I fully agree on this concept and I don’t see why or how the die break on the Suracusan tetra of this discussion could be considered incongruous
