Hello groucho :)

Your coin is a gold SCUDO (Muntoni 45, CNI 5, Berman 1113) minted by pope Pio V (1566-1572) in Bologna, you can see the papal arms on the obverse and the arms of Card. Giov. Battista Doria (left) and Bologna (right) on the reverse, under the floral cross.

This is a very rare coin (RR), and I think that in this condition it could have a quotation of about 1000 Euro.
