Dear Turbato5, it's difficult to identify your coin, whose preservation is not very good. I see on the left legend (reverse) an S: it shows a latin inscription, so I think the emission is a COLONIAL, not a PROVINCIAL one. But COL SE.. does'nt say very much to me. The emperor can be Caracalla, but not surely.

the coin has a distinctive reverse , that s why i picked it up even if it is in low grade

 

the reverse has masaiuos (meseious) carrying a sack

 

there should not be many reverses like this one

 

i thought about a colonial coin but i m not sure , the letters could be greek as well

If we evaluate the letters you see the reverse, are decidedly Latin, then I would opt for a provincial colony.
Well seeing the beginning of the legend that would be: COL SE........., the only colony that starts with these letters is in the currencies SEBASTE in Judea.
The fact that you are the reverse, does not invalidate the fact that it can be in this city.

Anche le iniziali della legenda al rovescio, coincidono con la moneta postata nel link di Mox, quindi è probabile che sia di Laodicea ad Mare, la moneta di caracalla.

Se è quella con Marsia allora la scritta è COL SC, con la "C" di SC che nell'esemplare presentato ha una escrescenza che la fa sembrare una "E" greca.

Ma all'esergo io non riesco , con tutta la buona volontà, a leggerci patep o proc, continuo a vederci una "N" e una "K" e una "O"

Si Tinia Sebaste è col se......

Se guardiamo bene la moneta postata nel link ha come finale .....ATEP, molto simile al PATR, magari vi sono legature delle lettere in esergo, ma quello che mi convince di più è l'inizio della legenda che mi pare speculare con quella del link; oltre al fatto che la legenda di Antiochia è rara in questa forma, propenderei proprio per questa città. Se si riuscisse trovare questo rovescio, tutto sarebbe risolto, ma ho visto che almeno due monete trovate in internet con questo inizio di legenda, attribuite a Laodicea, non hanno una catalogazione, il che rende anche difficile trovarla sul cartaceo di qualche collezione.
