1 ) Æ Sestertius (27.19 gm, 6h). Rome mint. Struck 35-36 AD. The Temple of Concordia: Concordia seated left on throne, holding patera and sceptre, above altar within hexastyle façade set on podium; entrance flanked by statues of Hercules and Mercury; pediment decorated with statues of Jupiter, Juno, Minerva, and Victories in acroteria; wings of transverse cella with windows behind; pediments decorated with statues / Legend around large S C. 2 ) Tiberius with Concordia Temple. On the front (obverse) is the Temple of Concordia, decorated with statues of Jupiter, Juno and Minerva. Notice the the hexastyle facade flanked with Statues of Hercules and Mercury with two Victories in acroteria. "TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVST P M TR POT XXXVI" encircling "SC" is on reverse. Tiberius dedicated the Temple of Concordia on January 16 in 10 AD, the anniversary of the day Augustus assumed his new name. da http://www.romanemperors.com/tiberius.htm
Il secondo esemplare presenta una contromarca NCAPR (NERONIS CAESARIS AUGUSTI POPULIQUE ROMANI, che sarebbe stata introdotta per breve tempo nel 63/64 d.C.).
